Medicare EFTPOS system

I dont get this one...can i ask?? Lets say patient comes in with a chronic pain condition for like 5-6 months. They are eligible to go on EPC care plan. So we write a note and refer them to their GP so they can go under chronic care management plan. The GP refers them back to us under EPC for say 3 treatments.
We then can charge the patient through medicare by swiping their medicare card on the EFTPOS machine?

Please correct me if im wrong. Thanks,
