Problems with science direct
« on: 03 April, 2008, 07:06:38 pm »

Is anyone else having problems with getting full articles of journal we are apparently have full access to?

For example is there any reason why I can't see the full text of these articles:

A pain neuromatrix approach to patients with chronic pain
Manual Therapy, Volume 8, Issue 3, August 2003, Pages 130-140
G. L. Moseley

Clinton,

Log into the AOA and under the secure member area click 'Science Direct'. Just above the 6 front covers there's a button that says 'Log into Science Direct'. That takes you to Science Direct. In the Browse box, click 'Health Sciences', which will give you an alphabetical index. If you find Manual Therapy (or the other subscribed journals) from there, you will have full access.

Hi Clinton,

I have noticed that we do not have full access to all years of all journals.  They have given us access to Manual Therapy from 2004 onwards so since your article is from 2003, we do not get access.  This is similar with some of the other journals we are meant to have full access.  This should be brought up with the AOA.  The more of us that mention it to them, the more likely it will change.

I didn't notice that, Justin. It should be taken up with the AOA.
