This interview of Professor Laurie Hartman, D.O., Ph.D. took place on March 31, 2007 in Cockfosters, London, England. Professor Laurie Hartman will be a name most Australian osteopaths will know from his book "Handbook of Osteopathic Technique", first published in 1983. This interview, by Dr Steve Sanet, an American trained DO, is a personal trip down memory lane. http://www.osteopathy1000.org/laurie_hartman/laurie_hartman2.swfAfter watching this video, why not post an opinion of it. So.... I guess the question is when are we going to get him out over here??? Great interview, its always nice to see and hear about another osteopaths career and life story. Great motivation for the rest of the week and years to come!

Its a wonder he hasn't already been invited. Perhaps he could be nominated for hosting next years' Convocation.

Agreed. He seems fairly no BS in his approach. He's refreshingly candid in his osteo speak and doesn't try to mystify what he doesn't know. I also remember reading an interview with him once where he said Osteopaths outside the US will not reach their full potential until they get full practice rights. He'd make a great convocation speaker.
