OZteopathy 2008 – the Program:
OZteopathy 2008 will give Osteopaths a wonderful opportunity to meet with, listen to and learn from colleagues from all over the world. We will be celebrating 100 years of Osteopathy in Australia, looking at how far Osteopathy has come since 19th century Kirksville, its current scope, and how we can assure a bright future. Delegates will be offered a variety of workshops and formal presentations from a huge array of Australian and International speakers, all of whom are certain to challenge and stimulate your interest - and you'll have some fun!
We kick off with welcome drinks and introductions at a glorious sunset on Thursday October 16, followed by three full days of conference program, forums and events; culminating in the closing Gala dinner on Sunday October 19th. The conference pack provided to all delegates will a range of information, presentations and lecture notes, as well as contacts for further learning and follow up.
OZteopathy 2008 – the speakers: Currently we have confirmed speakers from Australia, Austria, France, New Zealand, Belgium, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States, all appearing in a packed three-day program.
Our call for speakers has resulted in a broad offering of topics from both within and outside the profession. Jane Carreiro (USA), John Chaffey (UK), Zachary Comeaux (USA), Rosalba Courtney, Manuela Da Rin, Bruno Ducoux (France), Raimund Engel (Austria), Rudi Gerhardt, psychologist Peter Charleston, Larisa Lasovetskaia (Russia), Nic Lucas, Michael Mulholland-Licht, Nick Penny, Robin Seamer, paediatric endocrinologist Pete Simm, Clive Standen (NZ), Caroline Stone, chiropractor Allan Terrett.

AT Still Museum: AT Still's boots will be walking Australian soil 100 years after his philosophy and practice and to mark that 100 years, OZteopathy 2008 is bringing the AT Still Museum from Kirksville to Australia. Curator Jason Haxton will be available to assist in answering any questions and displaying a range of original items including some very early Australian history.
